california stuff

sarah sent me this picture from our halloween party a few weeks ago...i was a copy cat (get it?) and david was a massage therapist (ie, he didn't wear a costume):

looking at this picture makes me want sherbet punch again, SO GOOD!

we've spent the last week in california with my family for thanksgiving! our actual dinner was very low-key and i don't think anyone ate more than a normal dinner amount, and the leftovers were terrific. danielle prepared all the regular fare (turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole), and my mom tackled dairy- and gluten-free options for her, david, and the twins. everyone won!

it's been a ton of fun being here. david's golfed and puttered around the house with my dad and i've done a gazillion hours of yoga (2.5 hours every morning) with my mom. she doesn't like this picture but i think she looks way too hot to be a granny:

 yay yoga! i got happy little wiggles from the baby while we were "om"-ing at the end of every class, which i think means that the tiny one definitely loves yoga. he also loves stretching his 6.5" body out in between my lungs and this one spot on my back, which is super cute.

my other baby has been extra cuddly while i've been in the house:

every time i grab him and drag him onto my lap, he snuggles right up and starts purring. i mean, really, how precious can he get?! he also butts the top of his head up under my chin and winds around david's legs. i don't think david is terribly amused by that, but i think it's the sweetest!

tomorrow we find out the gender of our baby (excited doesn't even come close)! i'll update when we know :)
